IPS employees are true craftsmen, having been tested and found to be excellent on projects around the world.  However, to ensure they meet today’s rigorous safety and quality standards for North American service, we provide additional training in our Manila and La Porte, TX facilities. 

·     The specialized training includes:

· A course similar to the Basic Plus Safety council training;

· Alky Unit processes and procedures, including specific equipment training “in suit” before they are mobilized;

· Specialty Welding procedure training and testing against a 6G “restricted” standard.

· Specialty API 1104 welding test.

 Additional welding training can be provided in IPS’s La Porte, TX facility, which is set up for classroom training and has six (6) weld bays to enable “hands-on” training of welders after arrival in country
